Global Game Jam 2018 - Perth - Run by Let's Make Games

It’s that time once again, where keen game-makers around the world get together for one glorious weekend of developing; Global Game Jam! Join us at SAE Institute Perth, and team up with folks you know or make new friends to get creative. Regardless of skill level, and whether you’re an artist, sound designer, programmer, animator, 3D modeller, designer, generalist, or any other form of passionate creator – rest assured you will be immersed in an excellent game development experience!

As per always, we will have plenty of space for you to bring your laptop or desktop to hook up and jam away, eating spaces and even room to sleep.

Unfortunately we need to cover some costs, however if you cannot meet the ticket price let us know on the form and we will do our best to accomodate you.  We want everyone to come along!

If you wish to have lunch supplied, we have arranged for our usual caterer to supply lunches as required.  Just mark on the signup questions if you’re happy to pay the additional cost.

We will be keeping people apprised through email, a complete email will be sent out from Monday the 21st of Jan.

Public Transport and Parking

SAE Northbridge is a short walk from both the Perth Busport and Perth Train Station / Underground.

Parking is not the best with most nearby parking being paid.  Also please remember that it's not only Australia Day and the Fringe Festival starts that day and the Wildcats will be playing at Perth Arena on Saturday Night.  But we have assembled the advice as well as we can.

On Friday we will have bays reserved out the front door of SAE for dropping off gear.  Just drive into the Wilson Carpark and you'll see us!
